| Joanna joined the law firm of GarofaloThiersch as a law clerk during her second year of law school. Now an associate, Joanna focuses her practice in the areas of probate administration and litigation, estate planning and real estate.As a law clerk, Joanna clerked for the Circuit Court of Cook County Probate Division and served as a volunteer guardian ad litem for various probate judges through Chicago Volunteer Legal Services. Joanna also serves as a guardian ad litem appointed by the Circuit Court of Cook County Probate Division in guardianship proceedings. |

| Joanna graduated from Valparaiso University School of Law. During law school, she was an active member of the Moot Court Honors Society, serving as an associate justice and placing as a finalist in the Albany Law School Family Law Moot Court Competition. |
